Location - the travelling homeopath

With Frontline Homeopathy in Nicaragua

I have a consulting room at my home in Oxford (address and directions). However, I am also very happy to travel to visit you at your home or work. I have also successfully worked with patients via email and telephone consultations.

Home visits may be particularly suitable for people with agoraphobia (a condition, which in my experience, responds well to homeopathy) or families where several members require treatment.

What happens in a consultation?

At our first meeting I normally take a full case-history. Homeopathy is a holistic approach which treats the whole person not their current symptoms, so it is important that I get a good background about you and your health.

The first consultation usually lasts about one and a half hours. This time whizzes past!

I listen to your perception of your current situation,
We identify the physical and emotional symptoms that are troubling you,
We start to investigate the causes of the condition, and look at how it affects your daily life and your hopes and fears for the future,
I ask questions about the details of the main problem that has prompted you to come and see me,
I want to find out about your personality, emotional state and any relevant family history.

As with all holistic healers through the centuries, I will give you advice about your lifestyle, and where appropriate I am happy you lend you books on diet, meditation, and other "self-help" topics.

I usually give you a homeopathic remedy to start taking straight away, but very occasionally I have to do more research, or I don't have the remedy available, in which case I post it out to you.

How many consultations will I need?

Follow up consultations usually last about 45 minutes, at a frequency to suit you and your changing condition.

Depending on your needs, I usually expect that you will feel a considerable improvement by the 3rd visit. We then assess the situation and you may well feel that no further treatment is necessary. Rest assured I have no desire to keep you dependent on me! My whole aim is to empower you to get well and keep well.

Accessibility

I strive to make my practice accessible to all.

My house has level entry for wheelchair users and others with mobility difficulties.

If you have a visual impairment I have practical experience in ways to help (e.g. marking remedy bottles in sensory ways).

Discounts are available on request for:

Children, students, two or more members of the same family/household
Pensioners dependent on the state pension
People on a low income - I believe homeopathy should be available to all who truly value it, so, if you do not have much money, I am willing to accept part-payment in other goods or services.

I also do homeopathy on Oxford LETS (a cashless economy)

Please note that cancellations at less than 48 hours notice without good reason will be charged at full fee.
